For unrelated reasons, I had to do a Windows system restore. The problem with the last 50 played was solved by the restore.
Thanks!

This AutoPlaylist depends on files in the Library having been played. If things got reset this may not be the case.

I don't know what that means.

Do you have any files with Plays in your Library?

The "Last 50 Played" stopped working for me. It used to update when I clicked on it. Now it just stays blank.
I tried to make sense of this thread, but the pictures are no longer available.
(My computer did an unattended reboot, which some how affected MediaMonkey's settings.)
Thanks!

this whole post makes no sense to me?

why?

because i had the play list in the playlist tree from the time i installed mm3? it was just there. last 50 played top 50 played top 50 favorites. i have about 5 playlists with the number 50
don't know where some of them came from others i made.

i use the free version, don't think that is too much different?
:o :-?

Got it working. Thanks. Now I will work on one mp3 cd worth and one audio cd worth as playlists. They were on my old copy also.

here is what I use for a last 200 played auto-playlist and it works fine for me..

make sure you have nothing typed in the 'basic' tab, and set the # of tracks to 50 or whatever you want.

make sure your sort order is Last Played Z..A and doesn't have another entries.

Nope. Didn't work. Last 50 is populate, but with seemingly random choices. Nothing that has recently played and the list does not change, even with a reboot of MM3.
As always, I appreciate any assistance offered.
Thanks.

Add condition Played# > 0 and all should be ok then

by AnubisJeff » Tue Feb 19, 2008 8:28 pm

Did it. It comes up with 50 songs, but none of them played prior to setting the filter. They were grouped a couple of them in 10 and 12 of the same group. I am going to delete this playlist, reboot MM3 and try it again. Any suggestions? Thanks very much for your help.

AnubisJeff,

check "Show at most 50 tracks" and set LastPlayed as nohitter151 mentioned.

by AnubisJeff » Tue Feb 19, 2008 6:35 pm

I have gold and followed your diagram, but still not Last 50.

You'll need Gold to make this auto-playlist:

Last 50 Played playlist

I had a Last 50 Played playlist in MM2, but not in MM3. Can I create one? Have tried creating playlist but can't figure out the parameters necessary. Any help is appreciated. Thanks.
