Hi,

just tried your suggestion but the problem remains for me. :(
Annoying as my podcasts won't update now either!

Just tested it again with the icon dragged to the task bar and it was fine, so what ever made it not work like that last time isn't doing so now.

The only other time I had a DRM issues was when I dragged Media Monkey's icon to the task bar. For some reason known only to the creators of said program, Media Monkey refused to reconvert anything due to DRM restrictions even stuff I'd done before and just wanted to test what was going on. I ran it with the desktop icon and it worked. Now that is a strange one, and it took me days of messing about changing lame and all sorts. I only discovered it when I clicked the desktop icon by mistake and it worked. I tried the icon on the task bar and it still had DRM problems.

I think the program is inherently fragile and it doesn't take much to make it throw a wobbler, great as it is.

hmm,,no help to me as I don't have Zone Alarm

Okay, I just fixed my DRM issue. I removed all settings that Zone Alarm had that mentioned Media Monkey and away it went. ) I always tick zone alarm when it says it's logging key presses, I think that may have been the issue, so it's not fully fixed until I look a bit more.

Are you converting to MP3 on the iPod? If so are you using the free MediaMonkey?

Hi,

I'm gettting the same issue when trying to convert to my Ipod. The files are wma and ogg and the error is again regarding DRM.

I have turned off anyalyse volume and run as admin but the problem remains.

I am running the latest build of MM and am on Windows7.

Any ideas?

Ta

1) What doesn't work for you with the Virtual CD?
2) I'm not sure if a script has addressed this issue.
3) What doesn't work for you when creating statistics?

If you find issue please report them in detail so either someone can explain how the feature is supposed to work or the developers can fix the bug if there is one.

I downloaded the free mediamonky, and as a DJ had no doublt that I would by the "Gold" if my needs were met. I liked mediamonkey at first, but so far there have been to many disappointments on features not working, such as
1. virtual CD not working(which might help overcome the wma files issue)
2 no capability for making jewels or labels.
3. Creating statistics doesn't work either.
4. DRM won't download (could also be my new computer)?
and I'll let you know wwhen and if I find more.
My point is that for the trial mediamonkey should make sure everything works!
I won't (and I'm sure others won't) upgrade to Gold if the features don't work on the trial version.
If I'm wrong about my finding, please let me know.
DJ Bob

Ugh, now it's doing it again. What the heck is going on?

I fixed this.

Apparently the problem was that I had my sansa auto-sync options set to copy the files to one big folder on the sansa called "Music". I changed it back to the default options of each artist's own folder and it works fine now. I don't really understand why that made a difference though because that wasn't a problem in Window XP, just Vista/Windows 7. Strange.

Yeah, everything on the hard drive analyzes fine. Maybe it's just the Sansa, but the weird thing is that Replaygain works fine when I do it through Winamp.
