Add/Rescan Files will scan all sub-folders of the selected folder. Alternative methods are covered in the Help: http://www.mediamonkey.com/wiki/index.p ... ibrary/4.0

Always scans subfolders on my systems.. now, to get it added into my organizational structure i prefer to drop them into Now Playing, select them, right click and Auto Organize.

Nevermind, its much better to add music to now playing then you can drop it into a playlist or you can drag and drop directly onto your "media tree"

Is this really the only way to add new tracks to Media Monkey? I like every other part of the program but I add several hundred songs to my library daily and the "add files to library" tool won't even go into my subfolders! surely there is an easier way to add music...

You can use File > Add/Rescan Track to the Library, select the folder(s) where your music is stored and select the file types you have your music in.
