Yes, you can use a separate Portable install on the same PC and use your License (if you have one). You can also divide things up using Collections within the same program.

Open Task Manager and make sure that all MediaMonkey processes are closed. You may have the MediaMonkey Service enabled, which sometimes interferes with updates.

You should be able to load a "portable" install on the same computer

Question: My wife enjoys my Mediamonkey so much, she wants her own Mediamonkey to catalog and play her choice of music, but can two programs of Mediamonkey operate on the same computer?

Also, I have been getting notifications that newer revisions are available, but every time I try to download the latest version , it tells me to close all windows that are open.
I do that but it still says that a window is open.
Should I get out of the Program completely and go on line to the Website and follow instructions ?
I have "Gold " with unlimited updates. Do I need a my key number ?

Regards, CK
