Removing Playlists from the PC does not remove them from MediaMonkey.

I hit "Submit" too soon. I just restarted MM & there they are. So I solved my own problem. If at first you don't succeed, re-boot. :-)

You're right. I did a search on *.m3u, *.asx, etc. & found some of the culprits but not all of them. After a re-scan there was no change in the "Imported playlists" list in MM. I then manually deleted all the playlists from MM, apparently a Big mistake & did a re-scan on the Playlists folder only & got NO results. None of the playlists showing in the windows file explorer were picked up. I don't relish re-creating them again.
Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

If you're starting with a clean database it likely means you have the Playlists somewhere else in the scanned folders or you're editing/renaming/moving the ones that already have been imported.

Playlist duplication

Hi. I have a problem that's been bugging me for a long time. I have multiple copies of my imported playlists in MediaMonkey. I've tried everything I can think of including a fresh install of MediaMonkey on an uninfected laptop. Before uninstalling it I did a backup of all my playlists & did what I thought was a thorough clean up, editing them to delete all duplicates and then included them in the directory with my music under a playlist directory where they originally were. But I now have playlists that I have deleted from every place I can think of yet they still appear. How can I get rid of these?
Thanks for your help. This is very frustrating.
