Only if you still have a backup of your database from the old hard drive.

Playlists are stored using the database ID of each track rather than file path. This means that the playlist still works if files are moved within MM (e.g. by auto organise) or if you use 'locate missing files'. It also means that when you deleted the dead link entries then the tracks in the playlists were also removed because those tracks no longer exist in the database.

If you do have a backup of your database from the old hard drive then you can restore it and use this script to update the database to match your files on the new hard drive:

Playlist recovery, installed a new hard drive

installed a new hard drive, moved everything over, even changed the new hard drive letter to reflect the old one. Media monkey wasn't detecting the files. So added the new files (instead of locating missing option), went to files to edit and got rid of dead links. or something like that operation, ie removing all the undetected files and just rescanning in the library

The problem is the library playlists are themselves missing their songs, completely empty. is there a way to rollback? Windows restore couldn't do it , it didn't even detect the change in my mediamonkey today?
