Antihippy,
This is driving me crazy too! Everything was fine with my iPhone 4 right out of the box until I upgraded to iOS 4.2.1. I then had to upgrade MM to 3.2.4.1304 for compatibility. Now on my device all my podcasts sort by podcast title (i.e. alphabetical) rather than by release date as it should and once did. It's wickedly annoying.
I've tried deleting all the podcasts and re-synching. That didn't work. In the MM podcast tree all my podcasts sort by the release date. I've resorted to making smart sort by date playlists as a workaround, but that's just crap. You can't see the nice little blue dot indicating a podcast has been listened to or the time remaining on each podcast like in the actual podcast view in the iPod app. Arrrgh!
I cannot find any solutions on the interwebs or in these forums. I tried searching as thoroughly as possible, but to no luck. Anyone, if I've missed some critical post please point out my stupidity. I love MM and I love my podcasts. PLEASE HELP!
Cheers,
jb
