When I checked it, it just put the playlists inside another folder called "Playlist". As though I'd told it to put them in the directory \Playlists\Playlist. Not very helpful. :)

I have no idea actually, and I never considered it would be Type (like Music, Classical Music, etc.). Have you tried using it? If so what did you find?

Ah, well. What is "Organize playlists using subdirectory for each type" supposed to do, if not break them up according to music/audiobook/etc? (All I can see it doing is creating a second directory called "playlist".)

In any case, I have successfully synced ~1500 tracks, mix of MP3 and FLAC, to a Motorola Atrix 2 (on official ICS). It helped when I downloaded device drivers from the Motorola website (Motorola Device Manager, for the record), because the ones that came with the device were out of date and causing problems. Once I did that, MM recognized it correctly on the MTP setting; didn't have to go to generic USB. I think it even let MM know directly that it would support FLAC. Still fighting with playlists a little bit - the duplicate playlist problem IS MediaMonkey's. It says it's deleting the old ones, but it doesn't. I had to go in and delete them manually.

No, that isn't possible.

Once I got my phone running with flac support AND added flac to the accepted types in Media Monkey, everything went pretty smoothly. Having a little trouble with duplicate playlists showing up after I've unsynced and resynced things, but I think that's more a problem on the phone end than MM's end.

On a slightly different subject, is there any way to configure MM to sync playlists for different collections to different folders? I'm using MortPlayer on my phone, which I am madly in love with because it keeps music and audiobooks totally separate, with only the appropriate management options for each (it's actually two players integrated through a common widget). It's easy enough to tell MM to send the audiobooks to one folder and music to another, and configure the players to match, but if all the playlists are in one place, each player sees both the music and audiobook playlists.

Yeah, I figured out after the fact what I needed to do. :) Thanks! Now I'm just waiting for the transfer to finish to confirm that everything is as it should be.

You should upgrade to MediaMonkey 4.0.7.1508: http://www.mediamonkey.com/forum/viewto ... 15#p350715

Then make sure that in the Device Profile you set FLAC as support File Format and you may also need to set M3U as supported format. If you have any problems (either syncing FLAC or Playlists) it is recommended to create a debug log (step 4b) and send it to support so the developers can check what is happening with your device: http://www.mediamonkey.com/forum/viewto ... ?f=12&t=69

Same problem here. I tried upgrading to 1506, but that didn't do it. I'm on a Motorola Atrix 2.

Edit: sorry, correction. I hadn't yet added FLAC as a supported format. The tracks are transferring now. I think I just need to sync as a generic USB device to get all the playlists and everything straightened out. Will report if there are any more problems.

Hi,
since there doesn't seem to be anyone answering, I shall oblige: 1505 does not fix the problem for me and neither does the RC build 1506.
Hope it will be fixed soon, or there is a workaround I can use as a non-gold user.

MediaMonkey 4.0.7.1505 beta should fix this issue: http://www.mediamonkey.com/forum/viewto ... 07#p348807 Can you confirm that it does?

Anyone has the problem after adding FLAC to the list of supported formats? It works fine for me on S3.
