Now set that one to some unique setting (sync selection) or change it's name (click on Device Name in Device options) so you know which other Device Profiles to delete.

That seems to be the trick - from the Tree, you can configure the options without having to into Options on the "Available Devices" window (and have to guess which of the duplicates is the right device).

Thanks again, Lowlander, as usual, your advice is spot on, and much appreciated!

Thanks Lowlander,

This is the current Windows version of MM. I'm working on deleting the many entries but it takes a while as you can't select them all at once - you have to delete one at a time. I'll experiment more and report back.

Which version of MediaMonkey? Are duplicate entries still being created on this version and if so for what device(s)?

You can delete entries from the list and if you connect the device the used profile is in the Media Tree.

I'd like to utilize the Portable Device Sync option in MM but it's virtually unusable because I can't figure out which device to configure in the "Available Devices" window, because each device is listed many times. IT seems that each time a connect a Portable Device, it is added again instead of using the existing configured profile. This makes the Portable Device Sync option unusable.
