Strangely as it sound looks like compatibility forces loading different DLL files. anyway glad to hear you have found a solution.

Deleting my previous note. the problem came back. But did stumble upon something else to try.

AIRPLANE MODE THIRD SYNC FIX (my label)

1) Put your iPhone into AIRPLANE MODE before connecting a sync cable
2) Start up iTunes. select you iPhone. make sure that sync only checked playlist and songs is selected.
3) Make sure everything is unchecked. do a sync to get rid of all your music on the iPhone. Your iPhone should have nothing on it. You just synced zero music.
4) Then uncheck the SYNC MUSIC page completely. do a second sync. This also confirms you have synced no music.

5) From this point use either ITUNES or MMW to put music on your iPhone. Your next sync will work with everything going on, and nothing skipped or lost.

Give it a shot and see if this works. let me know if it does or does not.

FYI: I tweaked it a little to prevent from the 32 vs 64 DLL conflicts:

Will be in 4.1.15.1818

also it makes no sense that the ITUNES SYNC should fail both on cable (USB) and on WIFI. That sounds like a major software glitch in ITUNES. hoping the tips listed here in this message thread will work.

Same thing happened to me after doing the iTunes (12.5.3) & iPhone 6+ (10.1.1) upgrade.
I tried for days everything on this forum and still my iPhone did not show in MediaMonkey.

Finally I removed the Apple Application Support (32-bit) from the Control Panel Programs.

Then I deleted the Mobile Device Support Folder from: C:\Program Files (x86)\Common Files\Apple\
I had to end some running processes that were in use.

So, since the iTunes is now 64 Bit I figured out having traces from the 32 Bit version would create some kind of conflict.
I believe someone mentioned this in one of the replies.

After doing that my iPhone finally appeared in MM
This worked for me in the case of an iPhone 6s which had recently been upgraded to 10.1.1 - delivered the two items mentioned above, rebooted and the device finally showed again in MediaMonkey. Even iTunes was not able to copy music files to the iPhone, so this was not MM's fault.

also will need to try this. my IPHONE5 is failing to synchronize at all. it only works with a few songs and them proceeds to erase all the other music. its acting really weird.

Itunes 12, and IOS10 and iphone 5 with latest MMW version.

using an IPHONE 5 and trying to get anything to work. Itunes randomly disconnects while in the middle of a sync. Am seeing that others reinstalled all the drivers and removed all the 32 bit drivers. will see if that works later. going to get some turkey first. thanks for the thread.

What is the iPhone model and are you sure that you have removed iTunes 32 DLLs ?
Mainly C:\Program Files (x86)\Common Files\Apple\Mobile Device Support\iTunesMobileDevice.dll

iTunes 64 recognizes your iPhone fine?

If yes, then please generate debug log using DbgView (item 4b here: http://www.mediamonkey.com/forum/viewto ... ?f=6&t=341 ) and share with us to analyze it.

Thanks!

I think that on Windows x64 you need to install 64-bit version of iTunes.
i.e. ensure that all 32-bit components of iTunes or further Apple libraries (e.g. the 32 bit Bonjour service ) are removed and install 64-bit versions.

Hi,
Borrow different cable, do complete cleanup of Apple/iTunes on your system and install latest again.

Also while phone connected try to remove it from device manager and see if that fixes not showing on next connection?

I have the same problem and have tried things listed above and still cannot sync to MM.

I'm running MM 4.1.14.1811. Originally, after OS 10 update, iTunes still recognized my phone. But MM threw up the error. I updated iTunes to the newest version and got rid of the error, but MM still does not see my phone. iTunes no longer sees it either. I've tried going back to the old version of iTunes and everything, but cannot get iTunes or MM to recognize my phone. Any suggestions? (I have an iPhone 5s if that makes a difference)
