Are Album and Album Artist set to the same values for all files on the Audiobook?

I just stumpled over the same problem. I'm a bit scared that this post from two years ago sits lonely and unanswered. Is there anybody able to point me in the right direction towards solving this issue?

The audiobook is in mp3 format, set to category "audiobook" and syncs to the audiobook section of the ipod. OK so far. On the device, the individual tracks show as separate audiobooks both in mediamonkey and on the ipod itself. I tried removing the track numbers to no avail. The Firmware on the iPod Classic is 1.1.2 (the latest).

From my googling efforts, this problem seems to affect only the OP and me. ;)

Audiobook tracks showing as seperate books on ipod?

I really hope this has a simple solution...

I'm trying to use media monkey to move audiobooks to an ipod. Let's say I have an audiobook that has 23 tracks. I place these tracks into media monkey in the audiobooks section, then synch them to the ipod. Each track is showing as a separate audiobook on the ipod. I downloaded media monkey just for this purpose, so I'm not used to it yet, but I can't seem to find any option to have it 'view' all of the tracks as belonging to one book.
