My "Genre Finder" script should help you with the first, but it doesn't log into your own account so it cannot help you with the second.

last.fm tags into MediaMonkey add-on

Hi Guys,

After 2 hours of exploring this great forum I have not succeded to find the answer for my wish. maybe because I'm a noob ))

I'm looking for a simple add-on that will tag my all libary in MM according to last.fm tags. I saw that the option is availble on songbird add-on but I prefer MM.

It will also be nice if there will be an option to import my user personal-tags from last.fm and show it, for example on some of the "custom" tags in MM.

so, for example:

custom 1 -> "last.fm geners" -that will tag songs generes as appears in last.fm (with the ";" sign for multiple categorization on MM). - will save me a lot of tagging job :D

custom 2 -> "my last.fm tags" - that will import my personal tags from my user account and tag songs by the last.fm personal tags - for songs exists there. (also, with the ";" sign for multiple categorization on MM)

Does anyone knows of a similar plugin? something that can supply even 1 of the functionality described above? it sounds to me as a pretty simple one, so I would like to hear if someone can develop such a plugin or tell me what is needed and I'll find the programmer who will do that for the community :)

Thanks ahead for support!
Ori
