Not sure why that would happen, but I don't have Windows 8 to try and duplicate the problem.

Well, installed Growl and the script on Windows 8 with MM 4.0.7 and it, unfortunately, didn't work =/

Fizzjob, This is waay cool! It's great to be able to call the pop up when I want from other programs and without having to switch back to MM. Plus with the old way I often missed it at the beginning of the song and would have to switch back to MM to see what was playing. Now I can just launch the global hotkey. Great idea! Thanks.

Growl On Demand 1.0

Saw this in the Addon Developer Forum, and thought it would be a good thing to do with Growl.

It's basically a pared-down version of the Growl script that runs on-demand. You can then set it up to fire off via a global hotkey so you can see what song is currently playing whenever you want. Like my other Growl script, this requires Growl For Windows.
