Dunno if it works like that, but it would be cool if we could make the script create folders for each playlist we upload to the ftp... maybe based on the tags ? (like a folder for the name of the artist+album name)

The full error message status should be in "pftp.log" in your %TEMP% directory. It appears the uninstall hasn't worked correctly, you may need to manually remove the relevant section from the Scripts.ini file.

secondly, i uninstalled playlist FTP from the extensions. And now it's still in EXTRA > SCRIPTS. When clickign it, it gives many errors. because I removed it. Put please tell me how I remove it from EXTRA > SCRIPTS menu?!?!

People request WIFI Sync. And I thought sync through FTP to Android phone could be a great solution. But I'm getting an error here:

It works fine for me and doesn't seem to be running at all for you. It can't run without creating files, so I don't really know what to do next.

I don't know what to say, if there files aren't there then that's definitely problem as it's not possible for the script to run without creating them.

I could upload the .M3U file, but presumably it would need editing because the full paths would be wrong?

The script will overwrite songs if it uploads the same one twice, yes, but that shouldn't matter as the location will remain the same.

I am still getting errors and those files are not in my TEMP folder (Or anywhere else on my computer - according to advanced search). I am running Windows Vista Home Premium 64 bit if that helps.

ENHANCEMENT REQUEST: It would be great if this script also uploaded the actual .M3U file along with the new host location of the songs so that I can refer to the .M3U file from my website to play the songs in the playlist.

Also, I am wondering what will happen if a certain song is on multiple playlists. Will the script overwrite it? Would a previous uploaded playlist still work for that song (or would the location\filename be different?

New version (1.1) is now available to download from my website. I have fixed it so that if you receive the generic error message "Error occurred during file upload." then you can look in the Windows Temporary directory (%temp%) and find the files "pftp.dat" and "pftp.tmp" would should be useful for working out what went wrong.

The "remote path" is the "host directory" and should probably be "/" if this is the root directory, although I've never tried that. Port and login type do not need to be specified. If you want to update multiple playlists, you could create an autoplaylist which takes tracks from the other playlists, I think.

Thanks so much for making this script. However, I am having trouble getting it to work. I get an error. My provider says I need these settings:

1. FTP Host Server: ftp.fatcow.com
2. FTP Host directory: leave bank.
3. Login: FTP account username.
4. Password: FTP account password.
5. Port: 21
6: login type: Normal

What is a remote path? They said to leave it blank, but the script won't let me. FYI...If anything is left blank the script goes into an endless loop

I don't think FTPES will work, but I've not tried it as I don't have one.
