You got it. I wasn't actually changing the file extension.

Fixed that, executed the script and it worked like a dream.

Thanks for the quick response.

Great product.

You probably didn't really change the extension. You need to change your Win explorer settings to show file extensions.

Alternatively, use a different browser to download the extension. I believe its only an issue when you download the files with Internet explorer. Try Chrome or Firefox.

Correction. If I double click the renamed .mmip file, it still behaves like a zip file and wants to extract the files.

I can't get the download to work.

I am running Windows7 64 bit.

The downloaded file is a zip file. If I rename it to a .mmip file as mentioned in the directions, and then double click it, nothing seems to happen.

If I xtract the zip file to a directory, I get a VB Script file, which also seems to do nothing if I double click it.

Any thoughts? Is 64 bit W7 my problem?

It seems that you are using some old version of the add-on which had such bug. It is removed in v1.3.2 - 2012-06-01:
* Fixed: update when the old and new paths are same with the same drive letters, but with different drive serial numbers.

Thanks so much, Zvezdan. I've been putting off doing this for ages as I didn't really know what to do.

Your script made it super-easy.

Thanks and all the best.

Most addons can be removed from Tools > Extensions.

How do you remove this from your computer afterwards?

That's an old bug that hasn't been fixed. MediaMonkey has used it's own sort for drives for years: http://www.ventismedia.com/mantis/view.php?id=6078

I don't have any idea, but I noticed that as well. It is some bug of the program itself and I cannot do anything about it.

Your script saved me several hours of waiting!
(I tried to adjust some path-structures for my tracks and then the MM4-"moved/missing files". This would be the same as re-read my entire collection...)
Thank you very much for sharing your script!

Small addition: Do you have any idea, why my path "Z" doesn't appears in the correct sort order?

That's not a big problem, just a litte bit confusing

Data posted at night, new version with workaround available first thing in the morning, and now I have all of my music back. That's the best tech support ever! :D

I've upgraded that database a a few times from older versions of MM. I'm not terribly surprised that it got a bit screwed up in the process...
