Hey @trixmoto, im willing to trial any updates you may have in portable mode, its no problem removing the 'COM' as i already ceated a batch file to take care of this and i only run MM in portable anyway.

Yeah, I'd love to have some time. It also means creating a test environment to try and replicate, as I don't run in portable mode. I can't promise when I'll get round to looking at this, sorry.

Yeah it was a clean install on a usb portable drive. after installing i indeed did run MediaMonkey.exe /regserver
and haven't had to do it on this machine again,
but i suspect if i use the drive on another machine i would have to do it again.

Did you a clean installation in portable mode? Did you run MediaMonkey.exe /regserver afterwards?

Indeed after MediaMonkey.exe /regserver (run as administrator) it works now. But as far as I remember I didn't have to do this with MM 4.0, so it seems that something has changed with 4.1.

Would be great if trixmoto had some time for this issue.

Please tell me more. When I try to use MR in portable mode, MM immediately closes. If I click Tools…Options...MR and do anything with the settings, MM closes.

Hi trixmoto
Have you been able to have a look at this yet? Is there anything I can do?

I'm using MR 6.1 with MM 3.0. I installed and am using the PlayInWinamp script, which works perfectly. I use Monkeyflow
to select the album I want, right click the album (or track) in the tree view of MM, use the right click menu selection "Play In
Winamp", MM opens AIMP3, loads the file (or files) into Aimp3, and starts to play the file(s).
Unfortunately, I prefer to use MR with MonketFlow and MM, but there is no way to select "Play In Winamp" from within MR.
Is there anyway to add that script command to MR? I usually select a track in MR, right click it, and select "Play Now" and I'm
good to go. Could the "Play In Winamp" command be added to that right click menu? I know how to edit vbs and css files so I
would be grateful for any tips. Thanks!

Aff,

I had the the same problem. I think MR doesn't work in portable mode. When I installed MM in normal mode, MR would work again.
