thanks for the script.

and FYI most printer programs of any smarts at all. allow you to print the whole page or just the frame of your choice of a web site, / html page.

or just what you selected on the html page.

I have created a script which is available from my website called "Print Track List".

Here is the thread: http://www.mediamonkey.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=10716

I don't know if you can print HTML automatically though, IE doesn't have any appropriate switches.
I think you can call a print method on an "embedded web control", but I'm not sure. Needs some searching...

You could have a script which exported the content to a textfile and printed it automatically. I don't know if you can print HTML automatically though, IE doesn't have any appropriate switches.

okay i knew it would be wide. but trying to get her the button to click on so i asked. looks like the best way is the export to html. thanks. 8)

The explorer shell might be used for certain things, but that doesn't mean it works like that. Problems with printing directly is that many lists will be too wide to print on one page. Exporting first allows you to format the list in your way.

the export list thing lowlander is what my sister's been doing.

but she wants everything to work at the click of a button.
so she wants the main playlist to beable to be printed by clicking a print button like you can in word.

even in explorer you have a print button.

since monkey uses the shell.
i am thinking that the print putton in the menu was disabled.

and i thought that it would just take some easy code to re enable the print button.

And with export list and print it from the appropiated application.

This can be done with a script (hence why I've moved it).

Do you want the main tracks window or the now playing list printed?
