Looks like it is actually MMPro that is running.
Version 1.0.4.0245

The basic problem is that the icon on my tablet does not show it as Pro. I have seen two icons (one Pro and one free) and actually saw the Pro icon disappear from he screen. Also, the last time I uninstalled Pro I could not manage the home screen and it offered an 'advanced' version for $1.99. Kinda bizarre because there was nothing on the Play site for MM that cost $1.99!

At this point I 'THINK' I have successfully synched. Not sure what I was doing wrong (or for that matter what I did right to accomplish it!).

It appears that I have a bit of tag work to make it more user friendly. At this point the only thing that I don't like is the separate entry for the Classical genre. I would prefer it to be just another genre and handled the same as Acid Rock! I have 600 albums and just about any genre you can imagine.

Can the separate handling of Classical be changed by me?

[EDIT by Rusty: question re. Classical handling was moved to http://www.mediamonkey.com/forum/viewto ... 83#p388328]

Check About screen in MMA to see if you're using Pro.

Made some progress. The sync finished (about 3 hours) and then over the next 1/2 hr or so the albums all appeared. I can see all the music and can customize the home screen. MMPro still does not show, only shows MM icon. The app mgs shows MMA and MMPro as installed. So I uninstalled Pro and tried to configure the home page. Wouldn't let me. Said that the 'ADVANCED' was required and gave me the option to but for $1.99. Exited and reinstalled MMPro from the play store (did not have to pay again). Now I can customize the Home screen again BUT still does not show the 'Pro' icon for the program.

I can see all genres (about 25) and navigate folders. Look like 'Pro' is actually installed. Saw another post http://www.mediamonkey.com/forum/viewto ... 26&t=76330 and it looks like I am not the only one having issues. Looks like MMpro has a bug.

Is what I saw for sync time normal? How about the 1/2 hr of apparent processing after the sync?

OK. I assume I should also uninstall MMA and MMPro from the Android and then reinstall it. Will try this as soon as I look to see how the last 3 hr attempt at synching went!

I have tried deleting stuff from MMA folders but it keeps coming back!

I should actually see an icon for MMPro shouldn't I? My first concern is that I only see the regulat MMA icon on the tablet.

Uninstall App and delete everything in the MediaMonkey folder on both internal (where DB also resides) and external memory. Note that doing this will create new Device Profiles for both memories in MMW.

In MMA options there is no mention of rescan. And now MMA Pro has again disappeared. I have MM so I went to app Mgr and uninstalled pro reinstalled it. I aw it flash on he screen for about 2 seconds and then disappear. Earlier I formatted the SD card AGAIN and tried to add/rescan files to he library in MMW. Tried to sync and some time later it said I did not have enough storage. Nothing written to Android.

How do I reset back to ZERO and start anew. I cannot understand why I cannot delete the library in MMA.

A manual rescan (from Options in MMA) should fix this.

I 'almost' had this animal synched but discovered I had some tag work to do. So I formatted the SD card but when I look at MMA I still see the old library. I have a file manager but cannot see the library. MMA says it is in /storage/extSdCard. I deleted it but when starting MMA it comes back showing all the album icons. Do I actually need to get rid of this to start clean? If so, how?
