Re "'Recently Added Content'" playlist:
Yes, this is the playlist that is auto-created and contains the files that were synced from MMA to MMW.
The true is that the playlist is auto added to the Library-->Device sync list, this was rather an intended change and rationale for this is here:
http://www.ventismedia.com/mantis/view.php?id=10958
i.e. they are added on the sync-list so that they are not subsequently deleted when 'Delete unselected library files' feature is enabled.

Re: auto-selection of Music folder, I guess that the folder is auto selected because it is part of the target mask (where content is auto-synced from MMW to MMA), i.e.
\Music\<Album Artist>\<Album>\<Track#:2> <Artist> - <Title>
by default. This was also intended.

Thanks for your Support!

On Android i have used from Playstore "Download Video kostenlos MP4" and saved some MP3's "Alle meine Entchen...." to Downloads in the internal memory.
Interesting: While "Downloads" is a library-folder in MMA, MMA is only showing these songs with the file browser while searching otherwise no files are found.
Here is the Synclog:
CRTWYAMNIW

No files synced to MMW

So i have done further tests. I have copied one Song to the PC. Because in this song there are no tags from the downloader, i have used MP3Tag, and tagged some fields like title.
Then i copied to the dir Downloads on the mobile and synced again with MMA.... Voila

Synclog:
2KLQUNBUJX

So the problem is not really the directory itself, it must be the detection of MMA of MP3 Files. I have repeated the wohle thing, this time, i have deleted all Tags wit MP3tag and copied to my phone. However, also this time the MP3 was detected.
So i guess, that it was something wrong in the mp3 in the Tagging area so that MMA is not recognizing the file as MP3.

I also have Problems with MMW. Some Downloaders are producing MP3's which MMW can't play. However, Groove-Music in Win10 can play these files. For Analyzing such files i need an Mail-Adress for sending them in.

In Synclog:
2KLQUNBUJX

You can see also, that not only files where uploaded from MMA to MMW... there are also Songs and Playlists downloaded from MMW to MMA!

I have MMW and MMA configured, that only Files should be synced from MMA to MMW.

Configuration in MMW for the internal Memory of the Phone:
Autosync to Phone: Nothing selected
Autosync from Phone to MMW:
Selected to automatically sync Playlists and files
In the Foldertree i have selected only the "Download" Dir
All other directories like Musik and Videos deselected.
In Options:
No Autoconvert
Savelocations: In the Foldertree all deselected except the "Download" Dir
Fileattributes: nothing selected
Playlists: nothing selected

In MMA as library folder i have only selected "Downloads"Syncsettings:
Sync to this location: selected
Auto-Sync device content: selected
All other options: off

So for my understanding, this should be a oneway sync from MMA to MMW for one Directory "Downloads" and no Playlists.

After One Sync, the following, from my opinion wrong things are happening:

In MMW:
For Syncing from MMW to MMA, Suddenly a Playlist is selected for syncing called: "Zuletzt hinzugefügter Inhalt in german" (English: Last added content). This meens, that future syncing is going also to my internal memory card. Remember, i configured that no Playlist should be synced and i have not selected any playlist.

In Auto-Sync to MMW, suddenly, beside the "Download" dir also the "Music" and "Video" dir and all folders below are selected for syncing!
Remember: I have only selected the "Download" Dir!
While the "Music" Dir really exists in the internal Memory, the "Video" dir didn't exist.

Under Options in the Folder Browser "Music" and "Video" also came back as selected!

In MMA:

The Library Folder for the internal Card changed - Now also "/Music" was added. Remember: Before the sync only one Entry was there: "Downloads"
Interesting: The "Video" Folder was not added to MMA

From my Opinion, within MMW no Playlist should be auto selected the same for the Directorys to Sync (Music and Videos).
In MMA the Library folders should not contain automatically the "/Music" folder.
But may be i'm wrong?

Thanks Thorsten

Thanks, I can see the wifi sync, but /Download/ folder contained tracks that were already uploaded to MMW. So no upload were done from MMA to MMW and the tracks were paired only. Probably you have used the same tracks that were previously uploaded from /Download1/, didn't you?

Please do it again with new tracks that are not in MMW. Thank you.

Hi,

Hopefully it will find something as I can't replicate the problem.

By sending the log i have given my mailadress and also selected, that i would like to have this log.
Then a Popup came to which app i want to share and i selected email.
The Log ID and the description was filled in... but no logfile was attached.
Is this correct?

Could you please start the sync again (with tracks in Download folder) and send log after wifi sync is finished (i.e. it fails to upload the tracks). You can send the log from About dialog->Send log and write your log id here...

Do you have the 'download' dir listed in MMA -> Settings -> library folders ?

Sync files from Android to PC problem for download dir

Software on PC - latest Version
Software under Android 6.01 latest Beta

Handy Hardware: LG G5, internal Memory and SD Card
Handy Music Setup: All Music on external SD in Folder Music
Syncing between Handy and PC via Wifi

Description

On my mobile i use several Apps for downloading Music. For some Apps i can configure where the downloaded mp3's should be stored, for some not.
One App is downloading the mp3 files to the internal Memorycard to the system Folder "Download"... which is the standard Download Folder and all apps should have access for.

Now, i want to Sync all downloaded mp3's from my mobile to the pc music library via Wifi.

On PC under Tools/Options/Portable Device Sync I have configured the internal Memory Card with syncing rules.
Auto-Sync (--> Device) nothing selected
Auto-Sync (-->Library) selected there all directories where the new files are in: Download, Videodownloads etc.
As Destination i configured a directory on my PC: G:\NewMusicFromMobile
In Options/Auto Conversions noting selected
File Locations same selected as Autosync - library
Tagging Copy Artwork to file tags
Playlist - nothing selected

So the definition is a simple one way sync from my mobile to my pc.

Bug: All files which are located on the internal memory card in the "download" directory are not synced to the PC!
Other Directories like Videodownloads are synced!

So i have done a test:

I created manually in the internal memory card a directory called "download1"
I configured the PC so that this dir should be synced.
With a file manager on my mobile i copied all mp3's from "download" to "download1"
Then i synced it on my mobile via MediaMonkey Beta Android.
No Problem - all files are synced!

The only directory which will never be synced is the "download" dir.

Am i missing something?
Thanks!
Thorsten
