Thank you! Very good to know for future problems :-)

Unfortunately yes, between different versions things can go wrong from time to time requiring a clean install.

Yes playing all the stuff works fine with UPnP.

I have resolved the problem though. The tips from your link were not helping BUT I followed that "clean install" on Android and that seems to have worked.
Even though I have cleared cache and data before uninstalling, there obviously were crucial leftovers in those "MediaMonkey"-directories that screwed up syncing.
Is that possible?
Thanks for your help!

Does using UPnP in MMA allow you to play files from MMW?

[SOLVED] Wifi-Sync stopped worked correctly

by Kodijack » Thu Nov 30, 2017 7:08 am

Hi there!

I'm pulling my hair off on this one:

Using MM since like forever and using Wifi-Sync since it appeared. Always working nice (mostly).

I've setup sync like that:

UPNP/DLNA Devices can handle: ANY kind of MP3 and M3U as playlist
Convert: ANY incompatible to MP3.

So that everything there is in my playlists (mostly flac and some oggs) get converted to MP3 (coz I only have a 64gb card in my phone and MANY playlists)

Worked fine so far...copying MP3s and converting everything else. Exactly as one would expect.

But after I had to format my phone and resync my stuff it went nuts.

Now MP3s won't get copied AT ALL, and everything else won't get converted and ends up with "NULL" in the playlists on the device. And sometimes it ends up on the device and playlists but unconverted.
No errors, Debug-view shows no problems either.

I've tried any combination of older Versions on phone and PC, I've tried anything on the DLNA-settings, all to no avail.

If I sync the SD-Card itself over USB it works as expected with the same settings. Convert anything to MP3 except MP3s.

Did I miss something here? Am I too stupid? This drives me totally nuts...I need my stuff on my Phone and I need my Monkey :-)

Thanks in advance guys!
