Actually MMW can index a DLNA server, but could run into issues if DLNA Server changes how files are served (it doesn't serve the actual Path to the file, but it's own Path which could change). MMA can't index a DLNA server.

Hi,
DLNA technology do not allow us to Add tracks to Library as DLNA served filenames are only temporal and if added they will be unplayable in very short time. Also DLNA Tracks are Read only.

Nay I ask why do you need your DNLA Media Servers indexed in MMW library?

[*]Is this a planned feature? I just purchased the app and, frankly, this omission is a dealbreaker for me.

No, you can't add DLNA files to the MMA Library.

UPnP to playlist and add to library

by demonboy » Fri Dec 15, 2017 9:12 am

Hi,

I'm new to MM and I'm running it on Android phone. I've managed to create a networked drive (wireless, obviously) through a router. I can access the files via UPnP but they don't behave in quite the same way as locally accessed files. Is it possible to have them permanently in library (I can't see how I add a network drive to the library) and is it possible to add any tracks to a playlist? I'm using the trial version.

Cheers
