Sorry for bothering you.
It turned out that the music I entered had somehow become of type "Classical Music", which is why it didn't show up in the regular categories ( but it did not show up in the separate category "classical music", as I found out later). Re-typing my mp3's to "music" helped to make them visible again.

Which version of MMA and MMW are you using and are you doing a wifi or USB sync from MMW to MMA?

I have a Samsung S9 with MMA pro, a Samsung S6 and a windows laptop with MMW.
When I sync mp3 albums from my laptop to the S9 they indeed move to the S9.
I can see and play them in the folder-view of MMA pro, but they don't show up in the album or artist view.

Now/alternatively I transfer the albums to the Samsung S6, then transfer them to the S9 using Samsung's smart switch and …. they are visible in the album view. Of course this is not a doable way for say 1000 albums.


Does anybody understand what goes wrong with the first method and what I can do to directly sync albums from MMW to MMApro and get them visible in the album view?
