I don't understand why you don't use MM windows to manage everything, including playlists. I have all my music in MM windows and that is where I manage everything. So I have a folder in MM windows where I keep all the music (playlists) I want to sync to my portable device (FiiO X7). Any rearranging is easily done on MM windows......then I just sync to my portable device. I never, ever change things on my device....I change everything on MM windows and sync. Works perfectly.
Also this way there is one master and one slave, all the info goes in one direction, not two, so I never get into the situation where I changed something on the device and then have to remember to sync that back to MM windows.

Hi,
I agree, it is something already on our ToDo for MMA 2.0.

Maybe there should be.

I miss this from Poweramp. Quite a bit.

No, there is no sorting available in MMA.

Arrange songs in playlists?

I don't see a way to arrange songs in a playlist other than manually sliding individual songs.

Is there a way to arrange songs A-Z by artist/album/song title/year etc?

I occasionally will add songs to a playlist for the purpose of making someone a mix on CD or USB drive and will collect songs in a playlist, but then need to put them in artist order so I can more easily find the actual files to copy to a folder for burning, etc.

So we bypass this aspect of the discussion, I am not using MM for Windows to manage anything - and do not want to do so. I only use it for ripping/curating.

I did search around a bit, and could not find any other discussions on this topic.
