I was further active in trying to find solution for above questions:

Deinstalled MMA on my phone, deleted all folders named "Playlists" and "MediaMonkey" manually afterwards.
Deleted furthermore the Playlists albums manually.

Installed MMA again, but this remains unchanged, what I cannot understand:
But in one of these 2 playlists i have changed the album cover for all tracks, but the album view in MMA remains with the old album cover. Tried it 3 times with delete and new copy of the corresponding playlist folder, but the old cover remains for all songs.

There must be somewhere else on my phone something remaining, which was not deleted or deinstalled. Is there somebody, who has an idea?
Other questions later...

The sync options seems to be rather complexe, therefore I tried the following:

I have deleted all folders with playlits in it and copied them again to the Samsung S7 card.

Result is the same:
2 playlists are fine, shown only as albums and not as single tracks in album view MMA.
But in one of these 2 playlists i have changed the album cover for all tracks, but the album view in MMA remains with the old album cover. Tried it 3 times with delete and new copy of the corresponding playlist folder, but the old cover remains for all songs: how to correct that?

All other playlist folders are shown in the album view of MMA as single tracks and not as album: any idea, how to correct that?

Last word: I had a look into the "folders" of MMA. Here I have a library showing all properly as wanted it (with the exception of the wrong album cover as described above).
In a first step I was happy, thought, that's what I am looking for. But if I open one playlist album, the playlist is sorted per artist and not per title-number. Can that view be changed?

Questions over questions, any help is rather welcome!!

Sync: https://www.mediamonkey.com/wiki/index. ... evices/4.0'

Sounds like MMA doesn't have the correct tags.

one additonal information, what i also do not understand:

the view in MMA per album (from the playlist with 367 tracks) shows me also, that there are 2 unknown artists, but the tags are 100% correct!
Do not know, why.

Is a copy to the card of my samsund S7 correct, or is sync the better solution? (in this case i would need help, how to sync)

When you view the Properties of several of the files in MMA, do the Album and Album Artist value show the correct information?

or could it be, that MMA do not accept the huge number of tracks in one album?

I have called the Albums with former playlist name and created one album per playlist (but the biggest playlist / album has 367 tracks).
Album artists are: various artists.

I have copied the albums into my folder Music.
Therefore i do not understand the result: seeing the single tracks and not the albums in album view of MMA.

What to do?

An Album is where the Album and the Album Artist is the same value for the files. Thus if you changed the Album value to the Playlist name, you'll also need to set the same Album Artist for the files. This can be Various Artist or the Playlist name, whatever works for you, as long all files have the same Album Artist value.

I have my former playlists organized as albums now, with number (original number of the playlist), artist, title, album (various artists) and album artist.

In the past I have copied all albums into my folder "Music" of the Sasumg S7 card, MMA recognized them and showed the albums properly.

Doing this now with my new albums generated from the playlist, I am getting under the album view in MMA not the album, but only the single tracks.

Can someone help here, what i have to do in order to get under albums the albums only (and not the single tracks of an album).

Thanks for help in advance

1) Use Auto-Organize to copy the files using <Auto Number>
2) Use Auto-Tag from Filename if you want to copy this number to Track#
3) Sync files

Hope, I do not ask too much.

I have changed my German language into English in MM in order to follow your advices properly.

Step by step help would be great!!

I have to admit, seems to be rather complex.

What do I have to do, if I would like to get the following:

#Track-number (from the original Playlist)
Title
Artist
Album

Help would be fine!

Use Tools > Auto-Organize Files set to copy on the selected files and then you can define the Filename through the Mask: https://www.mediamonkey.com/wiki/index. ... ormats/4.0

You can use <AutoNumber> to get the Playlist position as a number in the Filename.

That can then be copied to the Track# using Tools > Auto-Tag from Filename.

I select all the songs in a certain playlist.

And then mouse right click: "copy to" into a folder I have defined before.
