MusicBrainZ, 7Digital and a developper named
Lukáš Lalinský have developped a new audio fingerprint format called Echoprint and it's open source. It will probably replace PUID that, according to
this article on MusicBrainz blog is deemed to die sooner or later.
Echoprint websiteI thought this might be of interest to MediaMonkey developpers or script developpers, especially Trixmoto who has scripts for generating PUID and searching MusicIP.
