I would like a good tagger that can tag automatically so I can live life!! Is there anything out there? I heard WindowsMediaPlayer has an autotagger when you change Rip settings

+1 for AMG support.
I'm using albumplayer for that (!)

AMG Info

AMG support would be great. The AlbumPlayer program has a great feature that will take you to the correct AMG page in your browser for a particular song, artist or album. This is great, as you get to read the reviews (sometimes good, somtimes otherwise, but generally informative history and background), see discography and check out related artists - which is a big plus. It would be nice to have the option to do this in MM.

Tag&Rename used to connect to AMG to collect tag info that wasnt in cddb, but they stopped implementing it some time ago. It was a great feature, and would be wonderful to have in MM.

so you all trust the internet to have the right information for the songs?

the last i knew most places went by albums not single songs.

and my songs are not always on the same album as the ones they had called the same name.

just try to get the sound track from the movie " Blue Steel " you wont get the one from the orginal movie. you get the one that was made a few years ago. not john waynes movie done in the 1930's not that there is a sound track to that one but i just used that as an example.

and to get john wayne's name for that movie back in one subject. but hey i'm a john wayne fan. :D

Would love this as well, if possible.

any update on this? The Godfather & Helium Music Manager is using it. But I prefer Media Monkey over them. So is it possible?

I think it's a Terms of Service issue. All of the other taggers that had AMG support have pretty much removed it. TGF has a add-on that allows you to use AMG, but I don't like it nearly as much as MediaMonkey's tagging capabilities.

It would be very cool to add though. Also auto-tagging from FreeDB and/or MusicBrainz would be nice.

Wouldn't it be cool if you could auto tag from allmusic? They provide track timings, track no, label, genre
