I'd have to agree. As much as I love MM this has still been a huge sticking point for me. I've been a Lifetime Gold user for years and have chimed in whenever this comes up but the entries in Mantis continue to collect dust.

I have to imagine there are at least one or two ipod users around here!

Any updates would be mentioned in the Mantis bug link.

It's been a while since I actually used iTunes with my iPod 120GB (I'm VERY loyal to MM!) but if my memory is clear - it's playlist folders that iTunes offers iPods. Maybe not exactly nested folders, but it's WONDERFUL to organize playlists.

There is an entry in the Mantis bug tracker that seems to be about this general desire at "0005371: MM doesn't support hierarchical Playlist synchronization to iPod/iPhone" http://www.ventismedia.com/mantis/view.php?id=5371

The other iPod issue that I would gladly pay AGAIN for my Gold MM (yes, I am begging!) it would be support for autoplaylists for the iPod. Rumor has it that WinAmp supports this, but I have MM so I wouldn't know offhand! :P

The autoplaylist has been in Mantis for a while too at "0002312: iPod: Implement smart playlists for iPod" http://www.ventismedia.com/mantis/view.php?id=2312

If there are other iPod users who would love to see these implemented, maybe a bit of chatter will get them moved up on the priority list! These two features are the two I am BEGGING for!

As I understand the iPod nano is the only iPod that supports nested playlists.

Just got my new iPod classic 160G and found it very annoying to go through the long album list to get the wanted album. MediaMonkey supports nested playlists, but it cannot sync them to iPod. I found several post in this forum talking about this feature.

http://www.mediamonkey.com/forum/viewto ... =1&t=17749

There are solutions out there talking about how to handle the problem of long-list and let iTunes control your library. But I want my folder structure back! :x Of course, we cannot browse the music in iPod like we do in the explorer, so structured playlists is the way to go.

I use MediaMonkey to manage all of my music. And the script "Export M3Us/Create Playlists for Child Nodes" http://solair.eunet.rs/~zvezdand/Export ... bNodes.htm can generate the structured playlists in the way I want for the whole library. The next step is to sent them to iPod and keep the structure.

The only reason I bear with iTunes is that it supports playlist folders which makes the structured browsing possible. It is also very frustrating to manually sort lots of playlists into their folders. So, I wrote a script to automatically generate these playlists and folders according to their locations in the file system. But I will drop the crappy iTunes as soon as MM supports this feature.

Any plan for this feature? Any reference for how to do so? If possible, I'll go through the trouble to make it, even though I'm not a programmer.

Thanks.
