If it is indeed an established ID3 field, it should be insanely easy to add to MM properties.

I see there has been some discussion of adding support for the Initialkey tag in MM. Can I add my voice to this request please. I have a large collection of traditional fiddle tunes where the key is a really important feature - I use MM all the time to organise and play my collection - I bought the gold version several years ago - but it would be really nice to be able to list the tunes by their key. I could use a custom tag, but it would be much more elegant to use the one that i there for this purpose.

This is definately something I'd like to see. Especially since it's becoming supported now in most DJ related software such as Traktor and Pioneer's recordbox. Having software like mixed-in-key place it in the comment tag is a clunky solution that shouldn't be necessary when it's already part of the ID tag anyway.

You can use one of the Custom fields to add your custom information.

I [b]TRIPLE[/b] the request for a [b]SONG KEY[/b] field or a least let me customize a field and call it SONG KEY. I'm a guitar teacher and would love to be able to sort my music by SONG KEY as I teach keys migrating up the neck of the guitar. I do it now by customizing a field in MS Media Player. Please MM tell me it's coming in the next Rev. for us musicians and DJs. Thanks for listening.
