Re: Reduce the frequency in the conversion

In the wav parameters I can select only the frequency, not the bits. After the conversion I got flac with a high bitrate, around 1300 to 1600, and the size of the files decrease from around 100Mb to 50Mb.

I think that the maximum bitrate for a wav in cd quality (16/44) is 1422 no?

I understand that is not a lossless conversion, but I just want to save place on the disk for some albums.

Convert to WAV 16/44.1 and than back to FLAC. FLAC Codec uses source format values for encoding to Archive lossless.

Note that this will not be lossless as you convert Hi-Def, to CD quality.

Hello

It is not possible to change the frequency for the conversions from lossless to lossless formats?

for example I want to convert sacd format to cd format, flac 24/96K to flac 16/44K.

Thanks for answer
