I don't know if change path and moving content will work.

Thank you for the clarification!

For MM4 it is still the path setting in
Tools, Options, General, Temporary directory ?

Can I move the already existing directories to a new path or do I have to rebuild this cache from scratch at the new location?

Yes, they're needed for the Art views as otherwise it would be a lot slower in showing artwork. It doesn't matter what folder you store them in. Only speed gain would be storing them on a faster drive.

In this directories
C:\Users\MyUserName\AppData\Local\Temp\MMCache1499994414_1
...
C:\Users\MyUserName\AppData\Local\Temp\MMCache1499994414_15
I found thousands of cover pictures.

From time to time I delete this entire \temp directory.

Does MM really needs this cache directories? Would it be a better place, if they go to
C:\Users\MyUserName\AppData\Local\MediaMonkey
or
C:\Users\myUserName\AppData\Roaming\MediaMonkey

Where do YOU store this cache files?

Yep, that's done it. Thanks. The default temp location was ...\AppData\Local\Temp
[edit]
Oh and I didn't have to maintain the library

Check temporary folder in Options.

I'm not sure what the default temp dir is, but it should show under Tools > Options > General. In the temp dir you're looking for folders starting with MMCache and then a set of numbers and the folders contain BPM files.

Thanks for responding. Do you mean in AppData\Roaming\MediaMonkey\MetadataCache? Or is there somewhere else because that's only got video thumbnails in it.

Try clearing the image cache in your cache folder and Maintain Library with full optimization to see if it fixes the issue.

Wrong images in Art Browser [notrep]

For the first time I've seen incorrect images in the Art Browser:
Image
(on my preview the image isn't showing all of the screen so view the image separately: http://dl.dropbox.com/u/39561993/ArtBrowserWrongImages.PNG)
You can see the correct image in the selected art window and I've checked the files for any additional art work. Six images along and the same thing happens with Beastie Boys- Hello Nasty showing up instead of Help the Aged, another 7 along and Evil Empire shows up again instead of Lipgloss, another 7 and The Battle of Los Angeles shows up in place of Mis-shapes, another 12 along and Sing Loud Sing Proud by Dropkick Murphys turns up in place of Something changed, another 8 and NOFX I Heard they suck live is showing in place of The Sisters EP. Punk is obviously trying to invade Pulp :-?
I've tried restarting MM and swapping nodes; the images are still in the same places. I haven't looked extensively but I've not seen this on any other nodes.
Here's a couple of debug logs: http://dl.dropbox.com/u/39561993/WrongImage.LOG; http://dl.dropbox.com/u/39561993/WrongImage2.LOG with me switching between the offending albums, the first before I restarted, the second including all the startup stuff.
