MM 4.0.5.1489
It's and iPhone 4 with the most recent version of iOS5. MM lists supported video as: AVI, M4V, MOV, MP4.
Oddly, this used to work (with previous Ted talks at least) a couple of weeks ago and I'm unaware of any changes I've made. I have two video podcasts I sync. CNET update (sample: .mp4 (video, H264 (AVC1), 320x180 (16:9), 29.56fps, 487 kbps - audio, AAC4LC, 2 channel,44100 Hz,126kbps)) and TED talks (sample: .mp4 (video, H264 (AVC1), 512x288 (16:9), 30fps, 402 kbps - audio, AAC4LC, 1 channel, 44100 Hz, 48kbps)). They play fine from my library as video in MM before (And after) syncing, and they play fine from in MM from the device after syncing (e.g. I open the iphone in MM an play the podcast in MM on the desktop).
However the iphone will only play the audio while showing a thumb nail as if they were audio tracks. Looking at the tracks prooperty|details page, I can't see any details of the track specifics, but I don't see an conversion during the sync and the file sizes are the same.
Is there a setting in the Iphone? Do i need additinal conversion rules? The only video one I'm using is "incompatible video, A: Any; V:Any to MP4 video"
Thanks in advance for any help!
Pasquale
