I tried many (at least 7) MM versions since v4 release up to 4.0.7.1151 which I installed today after few months of break. I hoped that this will be fixed by now.
Excuses about alpha blending being improperly processed because of outdated graphic drivers also don't hold the water, since I upgraded to new graphic driver at least 5 times since MM v4.0 and same thing is happening all the time (so first time after computer restart MM usually starts OK (not exactly always!), but second time is never successful).
(MM v3 was working fine...)
(And games that uses more advanced graphic card functions were working OK when I tried them, and all of my 3D CAD software with shading, ray-tracing (SW that actually uses GPU for processing) is also working OK )
I'm using WinVista (updated to latest version and service pack with auto update), laptop Toshiba X200-21K (Geforce 8600M SLI v310.90 driver), upgraded to 240GB SSD, 4GB RAM, 750GB secondary HDD, Audio card is RME FireFace 800,
