strange file renaming.

4.0.3.1476 debug, is one i have installed.

not sure when this has happened but i just seen it and the effect was felt by all versions i have in the computer 2. to 4.

i searched for a song. found dupy of it one in proper folder with proper info. one in improper folder with proper info, and improper file name.

seems mediamonkey has caused this to happen with about 25 songs. allways overwriting the one in the improper folder and giving its file name to the copy of the song it just made the dupy of.

example.
my music/elvis/greatest hits/jailhouse rock.ogg

my music/ABBA/greatest hits/dancing queen.ogg

both look propper but both were elvis jailhouse rock. it overwrote abba's song file, when i played abba's it was showing complete info for elvis so it only messed with the content of the file and left the file name alone., did you guys fix that already??

other error in mm 4 was when closing from video back to music the av images flashed the mono stereo button images. only way to stop that was to load the micro player then restore the main player. it only did that flashing after i went back to music after the video was finshed.

could that flashing also been a sign of the mm 4 messing up the song files too??

i now have to find those songs and re record them or re rip them in to the computer. after i check all the other computers to see if they are messed up there, (i doubt it but i got to check anyway). :-?
