Shame, cause now I have to decide if I want 1-tag-only songs (kinda hard going through my whole library again) or having very weird and specific tags in Rockbox.
Care to rename and move this topic to the Feature Request forum?

There's already an open request, see:

It's actually not a bug, because that option only works on devices with a database that MM writes to like iPods and a number of MTP devices. That option doesn't affect the tags of the files that are copied to the device, so when Rockbox reads the tags of the tracks those values should still be there.

Hi,

after using Songbird for quite a while I recently switched over to Media Monkey and so far I'm loving it :)
I think I have found a bug in build 4.0.3.1476 though:
Since Rockbox can't read multiple entries in the genres tag i ticked the checkbox "Use only the first genre when multiple Genres exist" in the tagging options page.
After re-synching to my rockboxed Fuze, it still says "Groove Metal; Instrumental" for example, and Rockbox sees this as a seperate tag.
Is this a known bug and do you have any idea how I could synch the files with one tag only without having to edit my whole library?
Thanks in advance and keep up the good work.
