It's happen before and on many files, doesn't happen every time and haven't tried to debug this.

Yeah, I'd just provide them with the files and let them look into debugging it.

I have the good ALAC versions but the tags are not the same.
I have both, corrupted and non-corrupted versions that come from same FLAC source, but the tags are not the same.
So, the tags that got corrupted may not have been the same.

I'll send both anyway.

It's happen before and on many files, doesn't happen every time and haven't tried to debug this.

I suppose they'll want the original before corruption to see if they can reproduce the error.

Does that mean you can't reproduce it on any alac, just some/one?

While editing tags for M4A files in Apple Lossless format MM corrupts files.
