Had exactly this problem tonight, for the first time.

I had to install Quicktime today for another reason, so after finding this thread, I tried uninstalling Quicktime.

MM4 launched normally after that.

Lucky one! No way here, only solution is to install on root as portable version or to downgrade to 3.x. Already sent 3 debug logs but got no answer.

Deleting iphone and ipod dlls from the plugin directory fixed it for me.

I would never touch an Apple product anyway, so it's no loss..

Shows the splash screen then silently terminates.

Uninstall, reninstall did not fix it.
Update to MediaMonkey 4.0.1.1460 did not fix it either.

No error messages, no error logs, nothing in event viewer, debugview shows nothing either.. If your process is going to blow up, perhaps an exception handler and some logging might be a good idea?
