I installed it this afternoon but I haven't had time to stress test it yet. The freezing-on-podcasts and won't-play-mp3s problems both seem fixed. I'll report back if anything comes up.

Thank you for reporting and the logs!

The issue is fixed as http://www.ventismedia.com/mantis/view.php?id=13373 in upcoming build 4.1.13.1800 that will be posted tomorrow.

I installed the debug version and I captured the event three times. Two times MM itself offered to send in a report and I let it. The third time I saved a Debug View report and submitted it plus a screen capture. Ticket #YAO-750-57245.

MM freezes if I try to play the podcast from the subscription itself's folder view. If I play the podcast from the general Subscriptions folder view, it plays without delay. Weird.

I hope they can fix this quickly. MM's podcast handling is one of the things I like most about it.

This sounds a lot like the problem I'm having, seems like every file on every podcast feed except the one I'm on makes it lock up.

I made a ticket and attached some logs: #KRH-445-78438

It will be a few days before I will have time. Last time I had a problem, the debug log was too large and you rejected it, so I was forced to give up. I hope that doesn't happen again.

I'm surprised there have been no other reports of this issue. Since it happens on three separate computers, it would seem to be a general problem, not specific to me.

Capture this in a debug log and send the log to support: http://www.mediamonkey.com/forum/viewto ... ?f=7&t=341

MMFW crash with latest versions

by rednoise » Sun Jun 12, 2016 1:52 am

This occurs with both the latest official download, 4.1.12.1798, and with the beta 4.1.13.1799 on three computers in my house, one running XP, one running Win7, and the other Win7-64:

Whenever I click on an already-downloaded podcast to play it, MM freezes, and the title bar reports that the program is not responding. It will sometimes come back after 1 to 5 minutes, but I have a couple of times let it go as long as 10 and it was still stuck. Had to kill the process with Task Manager. A couple of times the whole computer stopped responding and I had to hit the big red Off button.

I had been having the problem on my XP machine that was already reported here, that 4.1.12.1798 wouldn't play MP3s. The 4.1.13.1799 beta DOES cure that, but the podcast problem I describe above occurs with both those MM versions.

Downgrading back to 4.1.11.1783 cures all symptoms in all cases.
