Does non-Skinned work on win9x?

Anyway a suggestion is that you do not use skin on low end computers (how this sounds ironic now) you will save several CPU Cycles an speed MM considerably.

Win9x is not made for Multilayer/Transparent/Overlay things added in XP (DirectX9 ? ), in same matter like WinXP is not made for 3D/D3D/Hardware accelerated Desktop (DirectX10) or like my friends nVidia 8800Ultra do not Support all Vista SP1 (Still not released) DirectX10.1 Features even he paid it $500.
As a joke check Arachne Browser requirements

none of the mm 3 skins work in win98 they all seem to have some sort of error in them, some are the same and some have multiple errors. its just what you want to use that has the less errors in. i won't use mm 3 on any win9x and or any cpu less then a pent 3 900 hrz. mm 3 with all the database improvements and tagging improvements is just to cpu heavy. and smaller ones lag big time or just lock up.

but in my way of thinking we still have mm 2.5 and it works in win9x systems.
and anyway 300% of the people that were coding for win9x systems have stopped messing with it.

so why not media monkey 3. the worst thing is adding the code for win vista in to any old program since vista is picky on its code, even microsoft has trouble with it. 8)
