here is some information you need to know if your going to convert mm 2 skins in to mm 3 skins.

as of now unless they change it in the mm 3 program.

you have to do this.

using peke's template it will add in all the images and code needed for the mm 2 skin to look like an mm 3 skin.

in the player mskn file that is made for it. there is all the images for the digits. and the blank and negative digit. they are not needed, ( not sure about the smalldigit objects? ) so you can delete them, and the numbers ex image.

you will also see the time devider object. delete that one also.

you will see in the player ini file the timedisplay section
in there it has type=digitpanel.

change it to read

type=text

and you won't get any player initialization error or and memory access alerts from your skin you are converting.

you also need to make black or white images for the buttons on the player to be used as the focused button in the code for the button in the player mskn file.

you can take out the monostero image and code if you want too it does not work or i could not get it to work but it did not cause any error.

you will need to add in visualization images and code.

plus you will need to make the main.bmp wider on the right by adding a new part to the page in the photo editing program. then copying just a little of the image over to the new part of the page fill in the new part you add. this is for having something to make the skin stretch. which you will also have to add in that code to the mskn file.

thats all i can think of that i did not say on the wiki lesson. i will also update that info.

OR!!?? you can go to trixmoto's site and download either the brushed monkey skin on his site or the brushed monkey blue skin on his site.
both are the same except the volume meters are different. you can then use either one of them you down load for a template.
just remember do not open their or any other mm 2 skin theme.mskn file with the theme editor 7.
you need the theme editor 4. when you open the mm 2 theme.mskn files.
