Hi guys!

I like the Abrax Skin design very much! I tried almost all skins, but this is still the best!
However, there is still one problem with the low contrast of the fonts in the menu.

Black on gray is almost invisible. Could you tell me how to fix it or can someone of you help me?

Thanks in advance for your reply.

Juergen

For those who are having problems with the MonkeyRok skins, I have the solution. For either the Abrax or AbraxCS MonkeyRok skin, open the file "skin.html" and change line 14 from

Code: Select all

<script type="text/vbscript" src="SkinFunctions.vbs"></script>
to

Code: Select all

<script type="text/vbscript" src="../classic/SkinFunctions.vbs"></script>
and everything should work as intended

Thank you coach for a great skin. Downloaded the CS version and am delighted in how professional (and cool) the skin is compared to the original gold version. Colors are perfect and colored icons stand out just right for visibility. New to MediaMonkey which seemed overwhelming until adding the Abrax skin. Somehow, it just seemed much easier to use giving the product a much more finished look and feel. Definitely, a keeper!!

Thank you,
consul50

Thank you.
The zip files downloaded contain no scripts.
There are only images and style-sheets.
Is it then right to put them into the skin folders?
My bad, I think you are saying you don't have the scripts installed. Go here for Lyrics Viewer
http://www.mediamonkey.com/forum/viewto ... ric+viewer

And here for MonkeyRoc (scripts are in alphabetical order).
http://trixmoto.net/mm/search.php?all=scripts

Download the mmip files to your computer to wherever you want to store them. Make sure MM is open and double click on the mmip. Follow the prompts and you should be good to go. AFTER, installing both, do what I said previous to get the skins you want. You can change the skins by going to Tools>Options>MonkeyRok or LyricsViewer. They each have there own menu screen so you just have to play around a bit.

Hope that is what you needed.

It is a skin folder that was suggested: MediaMonkey>Scripts>MonkeyRok>Skins

First dowload the file(s) to wherever you want to store them.
Create folders for each in their respective locations, ie, MediaMonkey>Scripts>MonkeyRok>Skins or Themes>Abrax
Unzip and extract the respective files to the newly created folders.
All done. Works the same for Song Information Panel, too.

I'm a newbie to MM.
Can you please tell, how to install the MR and LV plugins?
(They are not .mmip)

Is override skin theme with Windows System theme disabled and if so do other skins work?

For some reason the skin does not do anything when I click Abrax under 'skins.' It just looks like the normal Media Monkey...

Best looking skin of all.

Only thing I'd like changed are the play, stop, fwd/rwnd buttons to have the same "glassy" look as the track playing readout (circled in white) and to be larger by placing the 8 smaller playlist on/off, eq, shuffle, continuous playback, auto dj etc buttons (red arrown pointing left) to also be larger by placing them below the track playing read out & in between the eq light readouts (red arrow bottom middle pointing upward) & the star ratings area (2x8 long lay out seems perfect as that space has nothing there atm.)
Is it possible to do this myself without too much hassle?

Also I'd like to actually see the timer, (Yellow & Red Arrows pointing down (should have both been red) as the font in the track info glassy screen readout is far too small (tbh I literally only saw it a second ago when looking harder at what was written and i've been using this skin for 2 or 3 months now) that and the time remaining need to be at least 3 times larger (slightly smaller than the track font itself & the album font could do with being larger) as well as the mp3 bit rate above the ratings stars (red arrow pointing down dar right). Go big.
Can I also edit this myself? (Adjusting the font percentage in skins options seems to change the main font as well which I'd like to stay the same.)
Lastly (whilst on a roll about font sizes.) the font size of the now playing info (right hand side, now playing tab, above top left of the now playing artwork image) is as good as unreadable, that needs doubling.

Other than it's great. (it's great anyway) It's the only skin i use.
Thanks for a great skin.

I meant skin.html, not skins.html - sorry.

CoachUK,

I figured it's a problem with skins.htlm. If i replace it with the skins.html file from the "dark" skins.html file that comes with MonkeyRock, the Abrax skin for MonkeyRok works but I get a white border around it. Not sure what's wrong with the Abrax skins.html file but i tried it at work and had a friend of mine try it as well and it doesn't work in any of the 3 systems.

All 3 systems were using Media Monkey 4.05.1496, MonkeyRok 5.6, Windows 7 64bit. I haven't had any issues with any other MonkeyRok skin so far.
