Make sure that you have included the m4a file type in the scanning dialog.

Thank you for the replies I can now play the mpeg4 files however i cannot add them to the MM library? is this the way that it is? many thanks again for any help.

Check http://www.mediamonkey.com/forum/viewto ... hlight=m4a or other forum pages you find with "m4a".

Hint: the best you probably can do is to install in_mp3.dll and in_mp4.dll from the above linked post.

I have just discovered MM and it looks fantastic however when I scan for my music files it seems to ignore mpeg4 in the itunes library and i can't seem to add these, even manually? help!
