convert the songs to wav files.
use a wav editor program to adjust the volume of the file in the wav format.
then reconvert it back to the format it was in.
remember not to over write the orgianl one with the wav leave it there.
now when you are ready to convert the wav file back to the orgianl format
just scan it in to monkey in a new folder. then search the libirary for the name of the song, it should show both the orginal one and the wav file.
select the wav file hold the control down. select the orginal file now click on the properties tag on the menu bar.
the properties panel should pop up with the properties for the orginal song.
you just put a check mark in the check box's for all the information you want on the wav file. and press okay. all the properties of the orginal file will be put on the wav file.
all but the album art, and maybe the lyrics?
but make sure you look at all the propertie TABs to make sure you get all information you want on the wav file.
now rename the orginal song's file name just add a number in it.
okay now just select the wav file and convert it to the format you want.
and use auto organizer to move it to the fileing system style you want.
you should have both the origanl and the new one . check the song and see if it was messed up when you reconverted it if so then try it all over again. but keep the orginal song until you get the volume right or a good copy of the new one then delete the orginal one.
