I am aware nothing happened for Y2K. Been in the trenches before Y2K I was working on making sure nothing happened in two companies I worked for. One of them was a brokerage firm, they started fixing Y2K problems starting in 1983. For them 10 year bonds caused everything to go BOOM on Jan 1st, 1990. I know from friends in the industry some banks were working on the problem in the 1960's but there was not as much around then. 25 & 30 year mortgages were the issue then.
As for Y2K, here is what I did on New Years eve. Was watching TV/News starting at 7:00 am. See what happened (if anything) In Tokyo and Sydney. Then wait for 6:00pm see if anything happened for midnight GMT. Then I fell asleep.
It amazes me that I started working on Y2K more than 35 years ago. And yes little happened. Truth be known, more people were shut down by the 'rushed to market' Y2K prevention programs.
Thank you for the update! Love this program, and you are all doing a GREAT job!
