You should change the Album name, otherwise your only option is to change the Album Artist name.

Many thanks, there were hidden files created by Windows Media Player I think, and I've deleted all, MM is fine at the moment (all Arts dissappeared as predicted) and I want to add them but I face a problem for that compilation.

I didn't understood very well, the first point, for example, I have 3 tracks from the same artist, two of them belong to a album (one image)and the third, to another album (another image, all of them have the same Album "various" and Album Artist) , but MM show all them grouped with one of the Arts chossen or without, is there a way to separate all by Art?

Here is a Screenshot explaining better my issue following the previous example it shows the 3 tracks grouped under the same image but one track use a different one as the properties window shows because it is from another album(?) what could I do to separate that track from the two and display its correct Image without modifying the album name?

Thanks again.

MediaMonkey considers tracks belonging to the same Album if the Album value and the Album Artist value are the same for those tracks. This does affect Album Art association. Also note that Album Art's may be hidden files.

Thanks I've disabled it now now most incorrect Artworks have dissappeared and now it show the correct generic icon in those tracks without Art but I cannot find any artwork file in the directory?? from where MM pick them all? because the correct ones are embeeded and not separate files (?)

I noticed now that the affected files are exclusively a "compilation" with "Various" as Album and different artists, can this make MM go mad or something??
Thanks.

Did you disable scan file directories for Artwork under Tools > Options > Library and are not working in the My Computer node?

Still not fixed, I was the latest beta and now the Artwork view of almost the entire collection became suddenly badly broken again after change album name for various tracks despite it is FINE in the properties of each broken file.

Is there a fix or something to avoid this? if files should have a blank artwork, then MM shouldn't pick up a random image.

Now I saw another strange thing I don't know if its related but some albums are shown twice or divided and one of them as Unknown despite all ID3tags are OK cross all track on the album, appearing it as two albums but it's fine in Details without artworks this in the latest beta and reloaded collection again.

Thanks

EDIT: Never mind it was the Album artist tag who was blank in the Unknown tracks I though MM showed them by Artist(s) so I disregarded that tag but MM auto refilled it in some file.

Many thanks Lowlander and Theta wave, doing the both things (deleting cache files and the blank artwork) fixed the artwork issue :)

If the first artwork is blank, then Mediamonkey will show the incorrect artwork. Delete the blank artwork in the album art tab under properties. As for the others, did you right click and click "Image 1"? That updates the mmcache for that particular album FWIW.

Delete the MMCache****_* folders from the MediaMonkey Temp folder (set under Tools > Options > General).

Many thanks, I was using the latest stable version, the beta you recommended me has improved substancially but still I saw some error. see here, the Artwork shown in the list is wrong, but the edit Artwork Box for the entire album shows the correct one. In other cases, it shows a blank artwork above the correct one.

Make sure you're testing with 4.0.5.1493 available from the Beta forum. Also make sure none of the track on the Album shown have the incorrect Art assigned.

Any help will be appreciated!
Here is example with the most obvious faults notice the artist name of the artwork and the real artist name on the right
