This sucks, Foobar works and MM4 doesn't.

BUMP:

Now this sucks big time.

Foobar works and MM 4 doens't. .

Foobar albeit nice and FREE, is a begger to configure in my opinion.

But it works without a hitch and plays SACD's ISO's, DFF.

Did I mention its free. But I still prefer MM.

Now, what the deuce!

I have MediaMonky 4 in WAPASI exclusive mode, corssfade off feeding into a ASUS Xoanr HDAV 1.3 dlx and all this runing on a ASUS A8N SLI Prem with 2.5 gigs of memory, Windows 7 (X64) professional.

Boy when it works, it works GREAT!!!!

But now and then the sound will become this horrible distorted echo, slowed down bad. Sometimes right away or sometimes in the middle of a song. I don't think its an issue going from one bitrate to another. Low to high or high to low.

Selecting the same song and re-playing seems to solves it, sometimes? This issue is random as well as the fix I apply. And doesn't seem to occur in the other output modes.

And I can't figure out why at the end of a song played, the last few seconds are cut off.

But boy, when it works, it works great.

Now why do you suppose I would be having this problem?

Dave
