Additional Playback Rules Needed

Post by Blue Stealth » Fri Mar 16, 2012 11:11 am

First off im new to these forums so please forgive me for any procedural errors. I believe this is the place for suggestions for MM, correct me if I am wrong.

Now, the current version of MM, 4.0.3 provides certain parameters for setting playback rules, or Title Formatting for winamp users. Currently I have the ability to change the formatting for the Player itself, and Art View. I would like to see an additional ability to alter the formatting for the taskbar as well. I found an old thread that mentioned this:

viewtopic.php?f=4&t=58404

and I see no reason from a programming standpoint why it could not be a viable addition. I use ventrilo often and the integration for MM (it does work when selected for winamp), shows
Code: Select all
<##>. <Artist> - <Title>
. For example,
Blue Stealth "222.Alan Morse - Chroma"
.

I use a custom format for winamp, and my integration would show,
Code: Select all
||  <artist>  ||  <title>  ||  <album>  ||  <bitrate> kbps  ||
, or
Blue Stealth "|| Alan Morse || Chroma || Four o'clock And Histeria || 950 kbps ||"

Could a dev or admin please give input on this? I want to switch from using winamp to MM, but this is holding me back from doing so. In the meantime, does anyone know how to manually edit the title formatting on the taskbar in MM? I can do the coding, I just don't know where to look/start.

Thanks,
Blue
