The view is saved per collection node. So if you change the "Music" node to "Show art with details", it should stay that way if you change to a different node and then go back to it. Similarly, it should save that way when the program closes, so when you re-open MediaMonkey, your last used view is saved and loaded.

In other words, your request is already implemented. If it isn't working that way for you, you may be experiencing a bug. You should submit a new topic to the "Need help" with a complete description so we could try to determine what is going on.

Is there any way in which I can save my preferred view as the default whenever I open MM? I prefer the view option "Show Art with Details) and always want this - can I save this option as a default please? Thanks.
