... I used the debug build #1463 and debugview to find out the reason. Also sent a bug report using the automatic reporting feature.
The reason is, locales are no longer looked up in C:\ProgramData\MediaMonkey\Locale but only in C:\Users\...\Appdata\Roaming\MediaMonkey\Locale. That's why MM4 does not know of their existence and tries to download them. This means you need to "temporary" move the Locale folder from the first to the second location and MM4 starts again correctly.
Btw.: I still do not unserstand why translation files are stored in C:\ProgramData but not in the installation folder (e.g. C:\Programs (x86)\Mediamonkey) as ALL, really all other programs would do. This is (sorry) .
