9370 tracks bad artwork tagging in MM when following a particular set of steps.

9371 is an iOS5 sync issue (that you actually opened at: viewtopic.php?f=6&t=66114 ).

Are you sure, there's a fix, 9371 that's in there and it has the same description. I'll give it a try...

As far as failed updates to the iPod when adding tracks to a playlist, this is working for me, but there are a couple of fixes to iOS Playlist synchronization in build 1493. If the problem persists with 1493, please start a new thread with detailed description.

Well, this is what I do:

I randomly play remixes all day. When a song comes up that is tagged wrong, I do a search for all remixes of that song. I then update the properties (artist, rating, genre, album artist, album, artwork, etc..) by multiselecting all the files, and editing them all at once. Once I save the changes, they are updated immediately, but the now playing artwork doesn't change because one of the files I selected is the currently playing track. Does that help? Another issue that I am seeing with this is when I update the tags through this method, the files do not resync to my iphone 4s. They are added to my iphone via a playlist of top rated tracks.

I noticed another problem that might be what you're referring to:

When tagging via the Art&Details > Now Playing window, MM will tag the selected track instead of the Now Playing track.

I couldn't reproduce either:

1) Using Artwork tab of Properties
2) Remove existing embedded art
3) Add new image (set to be embedded)
4) OK and instantaneously the Now Playing Art was updated

but then
1) Select another track on Album (not playing)
2) Using Artwork tab of Properties
3) Select to Apply to All tracks on Album
4) OK
5) Now Playing Art is still showing old
6) Switch to Selected and back to Now Playing doesn't fix it
7) Using Artwork tab of Properties on playing track shows correct Art

Hmmm, I always save the artwork to tag instead of file... I'll do some more testing.

Thanks for the report. I just tested this and can't replicate.

Is it specific to any file type? To a specific means of saving the artwork (e.g. saving Artwork to file instead of to tag)?

When the album/track that is playing album art is updated, the Now Playing tab does not update. The currently selected track does update. This is not a big deal, just something I noticed.
