Just got my August issue of
Maximum PC, and an old friend on page 30 in the Power User Guide article.
"Rip you CD's to FLAC"
Graphic of MM2.5 Library
Why sacrifice audio quality for portability when FLAC can give you both? Use our online tutorial at
www.maximumpc.com/article/flac to rip your CDs to lossless format and then install MediaMonkey (
www.mediamonkey.com) to manage your library. MediaMonkey
kicks ass at music management and even lets you load your music player with your newly ripped tunes.
Cool!
Note only items scoring a 9 or 10 on a scale of 10 get a kick ass rating, and while there were several 9's given out in the reviews this month, nothing rated a kick ass rating!
